CONSIDERATION

We are REAL soldiers who teach REAL military self-defence.

There are those who claim to teach military self-defence without ever having been in the military themselves.  They may even wear impressive military gear or commando uniforms to portray an appearance of expertise and increase their credibility.  If you ever meet one of these so-called "experts," ask them exactly what kind of military experience they've had and what they've done.  How much military training or real-world experience have they had?  Have they, or are they willing to deploy to the hot deserts of Iraq and Afghanistan, the freezing landscapes of Bosnia-Herzegovina and Kosovo, or into any of the hostile war zones around the world?   How will they know what kind real-world situations a person may face?  How will they train others to manage a real enemy without ever seeing one themselves?   Above all else, if they've never been real soldiers and have never done the things or training that real soldiers do, how can they teach real military techniques to others?  Based upon what?

Ask them.  "Are you, or have you ever been a real Soldier?"  Wearing the clothes and teaching something they've never done doesn't make them legitimate military self-defence instructors.  What will you gain from their teachings?  For sure, they'll be the only one gaining something.... and it's your money!

Yamamoto Tsunetomo, in his book Hagakure: Book of the Samurai, wrote, "In China there was a man who loved pictures of Dragons. He decorated his garments and furnishing with dragon designs to the disdain of others. The Dragon God was highly impressed with his deep interest. So, just once only he decided to show himself to the man as a real Dragon. Seeing him the man was shocked and fainted. A man who usually talks big is not as good as his word if faced with a real situation." - Hagakure 1-81

For years, my fellow soldiers and I proudly serve the military and wear the uniform at home and wherever we are deployed. We despise anyone who misuses them for their own gain and dishonors what it represents.

I was born in Naples, Italy.  It is a big, confusing and sometimes dangerous city where growing up means to sometimes face situations which force you fight for your rights.  Many of us face conflicts everyday, either literally or figuratively.  The sooner learn how to manage these conflicts, the better will live.
