SELF-DEFENCE is the ability to manage confrontations and protect oneself against any danger, violent or otherwise.  Ultimately, one's success depends on their physical and mental training, as well as their understanding of concepts in self-defence.

ROUGH PROGRAM is different from other disciplines because it is focused not only self-defence but also on personnel protection.  Personnel protection is the combination of techniques and procedures used to safeguard one or more individuals in both public places and private residences.  This system was created to combat the growing everyday threat of violence and has been studies by a team of urban and ring fighting experts.  The core of ROUGH PROGRAM is born from various military experiences in hostile environments like Afghanistan, Iraq, Macedonia, Kosovo, and Bosnia-Herzegovina.  The system is a combination of these experiences, military self-defence training and mixed martial arts techniques, free of any nonsense which may slow down efficiency.

Based on real senarios, this union of arts and no-nonsense approach makes ROUGH PROGRAM an extremely devastating yet easy to learn fighting system.  No traditional procedures, no ceremonies, no dragon punch or snake attack, no useless impossible moves, etc… only real, effective and proven techniques.  Realistic, practical simulations will be utilized in getting trainees ready for multiple types of real-world attacks.  These include being attacked by one or more aggressors, night fighting, fighting indoors as well as outdoors, the use of soft air pistols loaded with paint bullets, and red stained training knives.  These were once military-only methods, but times have changed and street violence has evolved, making these training methods essential in the self-defence training of regular people.  As physical fitness is an integral part of self-defence, ROUGH PROGRAM also offers Power Training circuits which will help maximize overall physical and mental potential.

On the street, what you learn in the ring will not work, and vice versa.  Fighters in the ring have rules, even in intense UFC matchups.  Before the fight, contestants can research their opponents' strength and weaknesses.  During the fight, they do not have to worry about anything but their opponent.  On the street, there are no rules and there is no way of knowing how weak or strong your opponents are, how many there are, or what weapons they have.  ON THE STREET, YOU CANNOT "TAP OUT!"  If you lose, it could mean your life or the lives of your loved ones.  Rough Program will teach easy but devastating self-defence techniques that do not have long, inconprehensible names.  Under threat, our brain immediately reacts to our survival instinct, not to sophisticated terms or complicated words.  This makes all our techniques easy to remember and practice with which, over time, will evolve into immediate and automatic reactions under attack.  In the real world, you have only three options when forced to fight:  WIN, GET TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL, OR DIE!  You are in charge of your own destiny, no one else.
